Bowman House Draw Rent Free Office Space Winner

Earlier this year Bowman House launched a competition that gave local entrepreneurs the chance to win a fully serviced office rent for an entire year.

The serviced office facility which opened in 2013, is a privately owned Business Centre consisting of stylish, modern offices, meeting rooms and business units.

Ideally located just 2 miles from M4 Junction 16, Bowman House is perfect for businesses wishing to access the Thames Valley and South West. 

Following hundreds of entrants, the grand prize draw took place at the Royal Wootton Bassett of Commerce meeting on Wednesday 16th October at The Wiltshire Hotel.

The Wessex Chamber of Commerce is a dynamic independent business network, working with businesses from all sectors to share opportunities, knowledge and expertise.

Chamber president Suzanne Gore was honoured to pluck the lucky winner's name from a hat and change the fortune of a local business for the better.

After several tense moments the winner was revealed as Vince Ryan from Newpark Solutions. 

Graeme Stephenson, Manager of Bowman House explained his reasoning behind this generous prize and his delight at Vince's victory

"Business owners like Vince Ryan are the reason why we launched this competition in the first place, I'm thrilled that we've given Newpark Solutions the opportunity to grow and expand at Bowman House. 

The competition has given them the opportunity to reduce their overheads, which is one of the main things that restricts growth. Being funded for 12 months free of charge is an enormous advantage to their business and I'm excited for the future of this promising venture. 

We ran the competition for just over three months and it was enormously successful, we saw a positive increase in visits that we had to our site and the promotion via Total Swindon has worked fantastically for us. I'm overwhelmed by the amount of entrants that we received."

When asked if he'd ever run a competition like this again Graeme responded by saying "this is a concept that has worked well for us on this occasion and is something that we'd look to do again."
