A Day In The Skates

Swindon Wildcats are excited to introduce to you ‘A Day In The Skates’ with the Swindon Wildcats Ice Hockey team; this unique opportunity at the Link Centre will give your staff the chance to do something completely different.

Their 'Day In The Skates' program is designed to bring teams closer together and increase productivity in the workplace. Quite possibly the most exciting corporate day, they take teams of 10 who will enter the life of day in the skates of a professional sports team working with their very own assigned Ice Hockey player. Each team walks in to find their named and company branded shirt hung in their changing room which they will be able to keep as a reminder of their day.

There will be an introduction by the Wildcats head coach and a special closing ceremony speech by Owner and Managing Director, Steve Nell. This exciting and intense day focuses on teamwork and leadership addressing some key employability values throughout the day.

The day is open to people of all abilities and skating background. Individuals will be taught to skate, play hockey, give team talks and enter an afternoon ice hockey tournament where they will be playing for the honour of your company.

Bookings for the 3rd July are for teams of 10 are at a cost of £400 per person. This includes food, refreshments, snacks, use of full kit, a professional Wildcats player as a mentor for the day, a full program 2 weeks prior to the day and of course, the named and branded jersey.

For companies with less than 10 employees, we are allowing an ‘all-star sponsor team’, available to those companies that sponsor Swindon Wildcats.

The Swindon Wildcats are Swindon's only Ice Hockey team playing in England's National Ice Hockey League (NIHL). Wildcats fixtures are played at the Better Link Centre in Swindon which has been the home of the Wildcats since the clubs inception in 1986.
