Tennis for all the Family!

Tennis fans in Swindon, young and old, are being given a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a year of tennis for only £30 at Swindon's new community tennis facilities this summer.

Members of the public can purchase a key fob for £30 per household per annum, with no further cost! To take advantage of this amazing offer simply visit the website www.swindoncommunitytennis.org.uk and click on the ‘play tennis’ section. Fobs can be purchase by filling in a form online or by using the paper version downloaded from the website.

Once purchased all members of the household will be able to use the key to open the courts and will have access to booking a court online through the system to reserve their place.

The project team have done an incredible job to develop this facility and keep costs to play so low. This dispels the idea that tennis is elitist and expensive, and I cannot wait to see the courts full of people this summer taking up this fantastic offer”

St Marks Recreation Ground has undergone significant works including a new community building, refurbished tennis courts and improvements to parking and surrounding green spaces.  This has been possibly after investment of £600,000 from Swindon Borough Council and £80,000 from the Lawn Tennis Association.
