Wiltshire Business of the Year Awards
During a prestigious awards ceremony at Centre Parcs on Friday night, some of the West Country's most successful businesses were honoured at the 19th annual Wiltshire Business of the Year Awards.
The awards ceremony, organised by Newsquest Wiltshire, aims to reward and celebrate the most dynamic and innovative businesses in Wiltshire.
During the event, Swindon-based IT Solutions firm Excalibur Communications won the Innovation and Growth Award, and saw their CEO James Phipps named Business Person of the Year.
Trowbridge office equipment supplier Office Evolution Ltd was named Small Business of the Year, while the Apprenticeship Employer of the Year and Overall Excellence awards went to Devizes agriculture, security and construction firm TH White.
Now in their 19th year, the Wiltshire Business of the Year Awards have become a crucial business recognition platform, elevating outstanding organisations above the rest.
All entries are judged by a sponsor’s panel of top business people. Winning or even being shortlisted for an award can bring significant benefits to companies, from a boosting sales and marketing to imrpoving staff morale.
Thrings Solicitors, were the main sponsor of this years event and presented the award for Wiltshire Business Of The Year 2012.
Mainline Employment Ltd, Natwest, BBC Wiltshire and Business West were among some of the events other big name sponsors.
Head of Thrings South West, John Davies, said: “I've been judging the Wiltshire Business of the Year Awards for some time now and I can honestly say the quality of this year's entrants were truly exceptional."
Other winners on the night included Corsham-based Park Lane Press and Swindon’s Seqol.
